EcoMix (PE)
EcoMix is made from polyethylene (PE) and carefully selected recycled plastic fractions such as used fishing nets and plastic bottles. Our EcoMix contains from 33% to 93% recycled post-consumer plastic (e.g. bottles), while the remaining content consists of recyclable plastic to ensure high durability and a wide range of colour options.
Process
From experience to material innovation
The anthracite colour was developed for our LOOP product family in recycled material and achieved the Nordic Swan Ecolabel. The material innovation behind this colour formed the foundation for EcoMix. At out-sider, we believe sustainable materials should be visible, and EcoMix expresses recycled plastic through an honest, distinctive surface.
Designed for urban environments
EcoMix has a subtle stone-like appearance, created naturally by the recycled plastic composition. The textured surface makes dirt, scratches and wear less visible, helping furniture maintain its visual and functional quality in demanding outdoor spaces.

Maintenance
Maintenance of Polyethylene (PE) is a simple process. The material’s resistance to moisture and weather means it does not require frequent care. PE tolerates nearly all cleaning agents. A high-pressure cleaner can be advantageously used for cleaning.
Following a thorough cleaning, the surface can further be refreshed with products such as car interior cleaner. PE retains its colors well and is minimally bleached by the sun
