EcoMix – Rethinking recycled materials for public spaces.

Sustainability is not only about what a product is made from. It is also about how long it stays in use. Creating outdoor furniture with a long lifespan has always been at the heart of our design philosophy.

From experience to innovation

EcoMix is the next step in that journey—combining durable polyethylene with 33% post-consumer recycled plastic to reduce the use of virgin materials without compromising the strength and durability required in public spaces. The story of EcoMix began several years ago with the development of the anthracite colour for the Loop family. Produced using 100% recycled materials, it achieved the Nordic Swan Ecolabel and demonstrated that recycled plastics could meet both aesthetic and performance requirements.

This experience became the starting point for further material innovation. Today, EcoMix represents the next generation of durable materials developed specifically for demanding outdoor environments.

Made for circular cities

Cities need outdoor furniture that can withstand daily use, changing weather conditions and decades of public life.

EcoMix is developed for exactly that purpose.

The material consists of durable polyethylene combined with 33% carefully selected post-consumer recycled plastic, including recycled plastic bottles. The textured surface naturally reflects the recycled content while providing practical benefits by helping to conceal dirt, scratches and everyday wear.

EcoMix is part of a ambition to improve materials continuously, extend product lifespans and keep valuable resources in circulation for longer.

Because the most sustainable product is often the one that doesn’t need replacing.
