Buster Film Festival

Copenhagen, Denmark

Buster Film Festival wanted to create an urban space where children and parents could gather, play, and take a break from the film experiences.

The festival, which fills the city each year with film, imagination, and community, wanted to give its youngest visitors a playful space – this time in front of Big Bio Nordhavn.

In front of the stage, where concerts and children’s entertainment took place, stood the Circus family. The colourful, modular elements with their varying levels created an inviting area for both play and relaxation. Here, children played, talked, laughed – and unwound – between film screenings.

A simple setup with a big impact, showing how design can create spaces for connection, movement, and joy.
